Project Z02 - Cell-Fate Decision Platform
The "Cell-Fate Decision Analysis Platform" supports the projects of the CRC 1054 in their study of cellular determinants of immune cell activation and effector function. Specifically, we have set up the ImageStream Mark II technology for image acquisition and data analysis. This infrastructure now provides support in the detection and quantification of colocalization of proteins of interest with other proteins in the cell or with defined subcellular compartments in specific subpopulations of immune cells. Applications will be extended to RNA localization in stress granules or P bodies, proximity ligation assays to relate protein interaction to subcellular compartments and observation of signaling molecules in T cell/APC conjugates.
