Project IRTG - Integrated Research Training Group “Cell-Fate Decisions in the Immune System”
The IRTG aims to increase the visibility of the CRC 1054 by providing a structured framework for training, qualification and supervision of graduate students. It will offer a lecture series on specific topics related to the research activities of the CRC 1054. Students are encouraged to - on the basis of their own initiative and specific needs - apply for travel grants/short term fellowships that cover visits to external labs with the perspective of acquiring technological skills not available within the CRC. This is expected to provide a substantial “added value” to the entire consortium. In sum, this IRTG initiative intends to promote independent thinking, personal initiative and creativity.
