Associated Project (Kathrin Schumann) - CRISPR-dissection of human regulatory T cell induction
Induced human Tregs (iTregs) could be potentially a cell source for immune therapies, but our knowledge how iTreg differentiation is regulated is still scarce. With CRISPR DNA editing we have now for the first time the possibility to genetically dissect these processes in vitro in human iTregs. This project aims to apply CRISPR screens to identify transcriptional circuits that regulate iTreg induction and stability.
